Things have been busy. So much so that I haven’t had time to work on my rewrite except for in my mind. After discussing my dilemma with a friend of mine she suggested that I take the whole first part of my book and condense it down into a prologue. I had initially rejected that idea because I thought that it took too much away from my character development. However, after kicking it around and jotting down the beginnings of a prologue I think it might work. I’m willing to try it even if it means that I will have to add about 30,000 words or so to get the length back up to a respectable level.
My wife and I are taking a few days off, and I plan on spending a large amount of my free time working on my book. Also I’ve been reading some good books lately and will start giving all 3 of you who look at this blog reviews of the books I read.
